Terms and conditions

Terms and conditions of use of the CASTLE (hereinafter referred to as the Terms and Conditions)

Definitions:

Castle – building, apartment, common area of the building, courtyard, garden, bonfire area and other parts of the property that may be used by the Guest(s) (Tenant) during their stay, as well as parking spaces.

General

The Regulations are an integral part of the Rental Agreement concluded between the Guest and the Castle Owner (Lessor).

Use of the Castle is tantamount to the Guest having read and accepted all points of these Regulations.

Observing quiet hours

The tenant shall observe the rules of the so-called quiet hours (between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.) and maintain good relations with other guests of the apartments (e.g. inform them in advance about planned social gatherings and obtain their consent to break the rules of quiet hours)..

Caring for the Castle

The tenant undertakes to maintain cleanliness in the Castle and to comply with the rules of order applicable throughout the Castle. Waste shall be disposed of exclusively in the bin(s) and appropriate containers located on the premises of the Castle (in connection with waste segregation).

Technical maintenance of the Castle

The guest of the Castle undertakes to inform the Owner of all faults, damage and problems arising in the Castle. In the event of an emergency posing a threat to life or health, the emergency services should first be notified by calling 112 (fire brigade, power emergency service, police), followed by the Owner.

The tenant is obliged to monitor the efficiency of equipment affecting safety, i.e. electrical and sanitary equipment. It should be remembered that a leaking tap or toilet can cause flooding and additional damage, as well as increase water consumption.

Installation inspection

The Tenant is obliged to cooperate with the Landlord in making the Castle available for periodic technical inspections (chimney inspections, etc.) and reading the meters located in the Castle.

Keys, codes for opening doors

The tenant is not entitled to interfere with the entrance codes to the Castle without the Landlord's consent.

The cost of making additional keys – in emergency situations, or a new lock due to negligence or improper use of the entrance door – will be charged to the guests.

Visits

Guests are responsible for persons staying on the premises in terms of compliance with these Regulations. Persons who are not guests in accordance with the rental agreement are not allowed to stay in the Castle. Longer stays of Visitors on the premises require notification of the Landlord and his consent.

Animals

Small dogs (weighing up to 8 kg) are permitted. Animals are only allowed in the Castle in the ground floor apartments, i.e. the Painter, Yogi and Walrus apartments. Animals are not allowed in the playground (covered with sand).

No smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited on the premises. Any culpable activation of the fire alarm system will result in a penalty of PLN 500 net (each time) being charged to the tenant. Smoking is permitted outside the Castle, at the ashtray located by the car park under the larch tree.

Bonfire

Permitted only in the designated area in the castle garden, in a prepared fire pit. After the bonfire is over, the remains must be doused with water. Bonfires must not disturb the peace and quiet at night.

Property insurance

The Owner's insurance for the Castle does not cover the Tenant's belongings or the Tenant's civil liability.

Right of access to the premises

The Landlord (or a person authorised by them) reserves the right to enter the part used by Guests (the apartment) during periodic inspections after prior agreement on the date or without their consent if there is a suspicion of a crime and in an emergency (threat to life or property). The right to enter the apartment also applies when there is reasonable suspicion that the premises have been abandoned by the Guest without terminating the Agreement.

Safety

The tenant is responsible for their own safety and that of their guests and visitors while staying at the Castle.

PLEASE NOTE – there are rocks in the Castle garden with a cliff behind them. There is a risk of falling from a height. For this reason, particular caution must be exercised when using this part of the garden and children requiring supervision must be supervised at all times.

Children are only allowed to use the playground under adult supervision and in accordance with its intended purpose.

The Landlord shall not be liable for any risky behaviour of persons staying in the Castle.

In particular, it is forbidden to store materials hazardous to health on the premises: toxic, explosive and other illegal substances.

Use of common areas

Guests may use the common areas of the Castle, i.e. the cellar, sauna, bar, and bonfire area. Guests undertake to clean the common areas at least once a day. Use of the sauna is subject to an additional charge. It is necessary to book the sauna at least 1 hour before the planned time of use. Reservations can be made using the tool provided on the Castle Owner's website.

The rules of safe sauna use apply.

It cannot be used by persons for whom there are health contraindications.

After using the sauna, please take a shower.

After using the sauna and shower, please leave the area tidy. Please be careful not to spread water on the floors of other parts of the Castle, as this may cause other people staying in the Castle to slip and fall.

Detailed rules for using the sauna can be found in the appendix – you are required to read them before using the sauna.

End of guests' stay

Upon termination of the lease, the Tenant undertakes to return the premises in the condition in which they were received. The premises must be returned clean and empty of any items belonging to the Tenant. The costs of repairs and cleaning not resulting from normal use of the premises shall be borne by the Tenant.

The Landlord shall not be liable for any items left behind by the Tenant. They shall be considered abandoned by the Tenant and intended for disposal.

Before leaving the premises, the Tenant is obliged to close all windows and check that all electrical appliances have been disconnected and all taps turned off. Damage resulting from failure to comply with this requirement will be charged to the Guests.
